Megan Perkins Geo Metery Launch

Last week we were lucky enough to attend the launch of Megan Perkin's Geo Metery range of jewellery at the Handmark Gallery. Megan is a local Tasmanian artist who designs and handcrafts exquisite pieces at her home, just south of Hobart. Her previous range featured pieces crafted from enamel that was then fired in a hot kiln, creating bold, high gloss wearable art.

The new collection was a mix of resin, metal and wood in striking geometric shapes. The bangles look divine stacked on the wrist, or if you have a small arm like me, worn as a cuff above the elbow. My favourite pieces were the orange torque (which I am wearing in the picture above) and the ebony wood bangle Megan is wearing in the fourth shot.
