Chanel Haute Couture

I have no filter when it comes to Chanel, so you'll need to excuse the multitude of photos from the Haute Couture show.

Karl Lagerfeld may have acknowledged last year that nobody needs Chanel, but I certainly WANT something, anything from this show. Chanel is renowned for the femininity of their designs, their craftsmanship and their attention to detail. What I always love about their collections is the juxtaposing elements. Set against a backdrop of dark forest and snow, thigh high black leather boots and leather gloves were paired with delicate concoctions of white feathers, lace and jewels. Feathered head pieces cascaded over the eye, which was wraith like, greasy and smudged black. I think Cara Delevinge got into the spirit the most with her dark gaze and stooped posture, so it's easy to see why she's a Lagerfeld favourite.

What do I want the most? The boots. Thigh high boots have never been so elegant and ladylike.
