First and foremost, Runway 7 made me want a hat. We saw Fedoras in soft shades of lilac and dove grey at Kuwaii, Autumnal beanies at Leonard St, floral headpieces at Secret South, and finally (my personal favourite) black Matador hats at Jolet.

The hats were hints of playful things to come. This season winter is certainly not going to be drab, with a beautiful spectrum of colours, prints and fabrics. The suit featured heavily, with Karen Walker offering slouchy pyjama suiting, boucle biker jackets and matching skirts and a gorgeous burnt orange suit with cropped pants. KUWAII offered suiting in pale great check with citrus piping and an adorable matching citrus mac to keep the winter rain off. Things were sexier at Jolet with cut away dresses and blazers in super chic black.

My personal picks from the show were the cape blouses at Limedrop, the paisley shifts and matching purses at Secret South and Gorman's cropped trench worn as a cape over leopard.
